General Information We utilize computational and statistical methods, including statistical machine learning, statistical physics, and computer simulation, to model disease transmission within infected individuals (with-host studies) and across population levels (between-host studies) and optimize the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of public health interventions, including vaccination and drug treatment. Most of our projects are completed using R, Python, or MATLAB programming languages. To gain a better understanding of the projects our group works on, consider reading some of our papers along with their corresponding code. However, I am always interested in hearing from qualified candidates. If you hold a Ph.D. in computer science, applied mathematics, network science, physics, biostatistics, or a closely related field and are interested in our group, please email me.
